Turkish Consulate General - Houston invites suitable candidates to

apply for the position of Secretary to the Consul General

Job requirements:

_ Be in a possession of at least a high school graduation certificate

_ Be in possession of at least a one-year Secretarial Diploma/Certificate

_ Have at least 3 years experience as a secretary or personal assistant

_ Be in a possession of a valid local driver's license

_ Provide proof of eligibility to work in the US (For US Citizens – US passport, US birth

     certificate or US naturalization; For Permanent Resident - Green Card)

_ Be born after June 12, 1971

Competencies:

_ Proficient in English, verbal and written

_ Excellent communication skills

_ Fully computer literate in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

_ Planning and organizational skills

_ Interpersonal skills

_ Team player

_ Adaptability

_ Ability to attend to detail

Duties:

The successful candidate's responsibilities will include amongst other:

_ Providing secretarial support to the Consul General

_ Maintaining correspondence and communication of the Consulate with local authorities

_ Organizing travel arrangements, meetings and events

_ Preparing agendas for meetings

_ Managing general office administration

_ Keeping office schedule

_ Handling reception duties when required
